Why would a company need a better story? To reach a vision. Set differentiation. Own a desired position. Attract customers. Retain employees. Expand into new markets. Sell more products and services. Be a better citizen. To attain any of these goals, executives need to be able to answer clearly and consistently these questions about their companies: Seems simple enough.
